Hired the movers
Yesterday actually. I have a moving date of 3/23.
So now the crunch is on. I still have quite a bit of packing to do. Most of the kitchen is done, and I'll be packing the dishes and silverware later this week. Since we don't eat at home much anymore, we can make do with one dish apiece and paper plates for extras. Our dressers and closets are still full. Guess it's time to pack my extra shoes and belts.
My BIL started the bathroom yesterday since my brother came down last weekend and demolished it for me. The tiling in the tub looks awesome. I'll have to post pictures once it's all done. My bedroom just needs a paint job and molding. And then we're done!
The moving date is flexible in either direction. It'd be great to get in a bit earlier but I don't want to rush my BIL and then he'd get sick.
Ms. D's new bed is coming today. I went back and forth on whether to get her a twin size or just buy her a full size now. Even though the room is big enough to get the full, I went with the twin since I already had a mattress and all I needed was the boxspring.
Speaking of Ms. D. I took her for a haircut this weekend. She couldn't take it anymore. Her hair is so thin that all the clips and barretts I put in would be out by noon. It took 3 tries but it finally got done. I'd post a picture but the wire to connect my camera is already packed. :^P She's not my baby anymore :^( She's so grown up looking now and TALL. I know she's just on track for her age, but man, it seems like she's taller than most other kids her age.
