House Hunting

My sister is in contract for her house. Her closing is set for Oct. 31 and she'll probably have to be out either that weekend or the following one. My apartment is just going multilisting today.

My head is spinning. We've spent every weekend going to houses and every spare minute searching the internet for other houses. We've actually put a bid in on a house (and it's been accepted) but I have a very strong feeling we're not going to take it after all. My sister is very nervous because the house is in a flood zone and in order to get the space she needs her daughter would have to live in the basement. There's almost an apartment down there (2 small rooms, kitchen, bath and large family room) but she's worried about dampness and flooding. She is also having a problem with the thought of moving into an apartment as she's in a house right now. There are a lot of reservations in her mind and she needs to figure out what she can live with and what she can't. I have my main points that I'm looking for and they're not going to change.

It's been a trip so far and I don't know what's going to happen but we're moving...somewhere, sometime soon.

I know this is a bit disjointed but I can't think coherently right now.
