My first post

So I had to create a blog to post a comment on a friend's blog. This might be interesting and fun to do.

Life for me is all about my daughter, work and hanging out on the weekends. Nothing exciting (to anyone else, probably). Right now my daughter is learning to talk and adds new words to her vocabulary at an amazing rate. The girl just flipped my lid the other night by completing a puzzle she'd never seen before! Only 1 mix-up cause the shapes were so similar. 19 months and so smart already!

Went on vacation the week before last. Had a great time just hanging at the beach and pool. She tans so easily and quickly. I'm so jealous. LOL It's ironic that she got the olive skin of the Italians and I ended up with the more European fairer skin considering that I'm 1/2 Italian and she's Irish/Scottish and just a part Italian. But back to the beach. She loved the sand and building sand castles, or rather squashing the ones I built for her.

Work this week and next will be interesting. Our office manager/accountant is on vacation and I get to fill in for her. As I'm hoping to one day get a position that incorporates my current position and office manager together it's great experience. Even did 3 bills for new clients almost from start and completely through the finish. Of course I realized later that I left off the disbursements from 2 of the bills, but it's a learning experience and we can add the disbursements onto next month's bills.

So that's it for me for now. Don't know how often I'll post. It'll be a fun experiment for now.
