Quite time on a Saturday

DD is napping right now. Yesterday we went food shopping right after work and didn't get home until almost 9:30 pm. I left her stay up until 10 so that I could put the groceries away and to calm her down. She watched a Sesame Street dvd, her favorite right now. I was also hoping that by staying up later she'd sleep a bit later too. I anticipated that so well that I stayed up about an hour later than I'm used to to finish reading a book. Unfortunately dd was wide awake by 6:30 this morning.

We're going to a block party this afternoon so I ran her around the courtyard this morning and I"m hoping she sleeps at least an hour and a half. The drive to the party is about 40 minutes long so she'll chill in the car a bit as well. She should be a happy toddler at the party.

Going off to play a bit of Diablo for a while. Gotta start all new characters as they just went through an upgrade.
