Block Party Fun

Had a blast at the block party. The timing went pretty much as I expected except that dd slept a bit later than I thought should would. Still got there about 3:30 and stayed till 8:30. There was another little girl there just a few months younger than dd. They played together beautifully (for toddlers). Really there was no fighting between them. Even though dd would take a piece of chalk from the other little girl, she always gave antoher piece up. Guess I gotta work on her sharing a bit. DD loved the dj and wanted to play musical chairs with the older kids. She would dance and try to climb the chairs.

Sunday was just a lazy day. Went to visit my grandmother, she's not doing too well right now. Brought her lunch and stayed for about an hour and a half. DD was such a big girl, she ate her lunch with a fork and didn't throw her food around like she does at home. Afterwards we went to visit with my sister and her family. LOL Like we're not there almost every day anyway (my BIL watches dd while I'm working).

Anyway going back to work now.
